Play old shows again, and discover new ones. Our programmes are produced by volunteers who bring their skills, talent and experience to the station, creating a unique and very varied schedule. Listen to DJ mixes, Devon voices, documentaries and engaging conversations here for free.
Our approach to creating radio is simple – we believe that anyone who asks to get involved is an artist, and provide the space, resources, airwaves and inspiration for them to develop and broadcast their ideas. Contact us to make your radio dreams come true.
We cannot think of another art institution that is so dedicated, ethical, pioneering, radical, sustainable, far reaching, exciting, contemporary, community building... we wanted you to know how valuable your work is and how much WE NEED YOU to keep doing what you are doing for artists and the listening public.

Wavelength is a showcase for community enterprises and organisations in the Totnes and wider area who want to change the world!
The vibe in this area attracts pioneers and innovators to locate their business here. For many the bottom line is social change, rather than just making a buck. Wavelength is the ethical alternative to commercial advertising and a real celebration of local social enterprise across all sorts of businesses and organisations.
Since 2015 a change in the law gives us the go ahead to advertise, but radio ads can be cheesy! Instead we invite your enterprise or initiative to join Wavelength...

We offer informal training in the studio to anyone who is interested in voluntering with us. Over 100 volunteers of all ages and from all walks freely give around 245 hours a week to keep the station on air. If you'd like to be part of this vibrant and diverse community we'd love to hear from you.
Soundart Radio works with other learning providers, community groups, heritage and arts organisations. We can match your group to just the right sound artist or technical expert to deliver a really inspiring project. We're also a centre for the Arts Award and provide workshops and training for people of all ages and abilities.
The Soundart Radio approach to storytelling changes the way we listen to the world! Our pool of talented programme makers and producers are excited about bringing radio programmes and audio installations to unexpected settings. Please approach us with your initial briefs and ideas for commissions. Together we can shape a sound adventure, without getting lost in the woods.
We like to open the studio door to nature. The mic might pick up the sound of the rooks calling in the trees outside. We are uniquely a radio art and experimental station in rural England. We do not aspire to being an urban, masculine, electronic or highbrow project. We seek instead to find new ways to listen to contemporary rural life.
